The first winery you see after leaving the town of Napa, Trefethen Family Vineyards serves as a gateway to the Napa Valley. Open every day from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, our Tasting Room is located on the ground floor of our 19th-century winery building, designated a National Historic Landmark. (We highly recommend scheduling a tour!) Along with our gracious staff, the old winery provides a warm, comfortable environment in which to sample our award-winning Napa Valley wines.

A unique way to begin your Napa Valley evening, our exclusive “twilight tour” begins after the winery closes to the public, allowing you to experience the winery in a way few others do ~ all to yourself!
The evening will begin with a reception including artisan cheese and charcuterie. Then, as we explore and celebrate the craftsmanship of our historic 19th-century winery, you will have the opportunity to taste an aging Cabernet, straight from the barrel. For the main event, we will sit together and enjoy a tasting of some extremely special wines – including small lot trials and gems from past vintages that have been nurtured to perfection in our cellar. Savoring these wines, after hours, in our charming barrel room is certainly an experience not to be missed!
